14 year of “Find your way” ...
The organizers of 4x4 Shumen , are welcoming you to the traditional, international unforgettable event of pure test of teams, machines and orga members from December 5th 2014 near city of Shumen.
If you are wondering why so late – traditionally the event is held at the first weekend of December and this year it is from 5th until 7th of December
What to expect – most probably this from the clips bellow :
Who can participate – each one who has the will, the options and a vehicle which can pass the technical checks.
“Something foe everyone” – 3 classes – 2 racing classes – Master and Learner and one tourist class – non racing.
Something new !!!- Due to the different level of the technical improvement of the vehicles, this year the master’s class will be divided in to 3 groups by the tire size. At the technical check with the use of a gauge the size of the tires will be checked and recorded and after the paper work is done, the tires will be marked. Then the vehicles and teams will be divided to the following groups – up to 31’’ , up to 33’’ and over 33’’ tires. At each start there will be a check of the tires and if there is a change in the size over the tolerance the team will automatically get a “over 33’’ “ group. There will no difference in the tracks for the groups. All portal axel vehicles get in to the over 33’’ group.

from 09:00 – 11:00 – WorkShop for co-pilots.
from 16:00 until 21:00 – administrative and technical check.
from 21: 15 – Briefing – all classes.
22:00 – publishing of starting list.
05.12.2014 – Friday
09:00 – Start of first team.
16:00 – Stage closure.
20:00 – Start of Night stage .
23:00 – Closue of Night stage
06.12.2014 – Saturday
9.45 – Briefing + Results from the previous day.
10:00 – Start of first team.
16:00 – Stage closure .
20:00 – Briefing + preliminary results.
07.12.2014 – Sunday
09:00 – Start of navigation stage ***.
10:30 – Show start .
~11:00 – Start of Italian chase stage.
15:00 – Preliminary results .
15:30 – Price giving ceremony.
The organizer keeps his right to change the schedule.

The rules of the event are unchanged from 2013 but we will add some improvements for the groups in the master’s class as well as some general ranking points change for the last stage.
HQ of the event is again hotel Shumen in the city of Shumen, but this does not require you to be there accommodated. We can only help by making a reservation for you there.
Distance from Orestiada to Shumen - 300 kms.
Participants - last year we had 35 teams from 6 countries - Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Albania, Austria, Portugal ( Co-driver ) and Germany. The Briefing and all roadbooks are spoken and written in both Bulgarian and English language, so be prepared...
Difficulty level… In 2013 we had the worst weather conditions ever – minus temperature, snow, ice, fallen trees and many more. What would be in 2014 – no one knows but “Go prepared”…
