Για οσους δεν τον ξέρουν ήταν αντιπροεδρος 4χ4 της FIA και επικεφαλής της ομαδας 4χ4 που υποστήριξε την προσπαθεια της Λεσχης 4χ4 Εκάλης στους 5 διεθνής μεγαλύτερους αγώνες που οργανώθηκαν στην Ελλάδα.
Εφυγε πρόσφατα σε ήλικία 63 ετών απκαρδιακό πρόβλημα.
